Asbury Methodist Village has been using GeriMenu® resident
meal planning and food service software since 1991. Today
it serves over 250 residents in its skilled nursing facility with
the latest software and upgrades. Asbury Methodist has both
GeriMenu modules, allowing staff to
- Produce resident-specific tray tickets based on menus and
residents' preferences
- Simplify serving lines with sanitary, single-use tray tickets
and snack/nourishment labels
- Print accurate production tally and prep/pull sheets for
the kitchen staff
- Scale recipes for each meal based on resident selections
- Calculate all meal costs
- Print selective menus or use the optional Palm handheld
organizer to record choices right in the residents' rooms
According to Asbury managers, GeriMenu tray tickets offer
Asbury Methodist more-reliable production numbers, and the
concrete meal tickets eliminate the need for interpretation.
GeriMenu software is also extremely helpful in Asbury
Methodist's preparation of monthly billing for nourishments

Asbury Utilizes Additional CBORD Systems
Asbury Methodist Village also uses the Odyssey PCS™ cashless
system from CBORD® to allow residents to use their ID cards
to pay for dining services, gift store selections, beauty salon
services, and door access.

GeriMenu continues to provide the benefits, results, and
customer service on which CBORD prides itself. As Asbury
Services, Inc., continues to grow and add new locations,
Asbury Methodist Village helps train the facilities to use
GeriMenu software. GeriMenu is now being used at six Asbury
Services locations, including Asbury Methodist Village, Bethany
Village and Towers, Epworth Manor, Inverness Village, Reeders
Memorial Home, and the Springhill/ForestView Community.
